Musician Bio:

Well known for his slick finger picking and rambling poetry, west australian songwriter Jack Davies began his days as a busker. After joining forces with his folk rock outfit “The Bush Chooks” in 2018, the group built a steady national following, selling out shows across the country with their electrified and dynamic takes on Jack’s introspective folk songwriting. After releasing a debut solo album in 2024, Jack has been travelling full time playing a run of dedicated, intimate acoustic shows, be it solo, trio, or with various other arrangements. He is celebrated for his emotive, witty lyricism, humorous stories, and somewhat clumsy stage presence. 2025 brings two new projects, an instrumental guitar album and a trio album with harmonies from beloved west australian musicians Anna Schneider and Claudie Joy.

From singing about seagulls to mumbling poems of sorrow, Jack's songs like to laugh, poke and longingly stare at the world. Be sure not to miss his unique blend of spoken word, folk picking, sad singing and indi acoustic weirdery.
